"Undocumented Worker: The Audition," created by Nyima Funk and Ithamar Enriquez for The Second City Network, features a migrant worker that does painting, dry-wall, and scene study.
Over 1500 videos were entered into this festival, and "Undocumented Worker: The Audition" is in the final six. The creators of the winning video will be engaged to write a pilot for NBC.
The final screening will be held on Wednesday, Oct 20th at The Director's Guild of America (7920 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046). A red carpet reception will be held at 7pm, with screenings to begin at 8pm. The event will be hosted by Craig Robinson (The Office, Last Comic Standing).
