From December 12-15th in Toronto will be hosting the first annual IMPULSE Festival at The Young Centre For The Performing Arts in the Distillery presented by The National Theatre of The World in association with Soulpepper Theatre. They are bringing in improv artists from eight different countries (India, France, U.K., U.S.A., Australia, and Austria) and they will be performing showcases and Mashups with each other throughout.
A huge part of the event is a 55 hour long improvised soap opera marathon that will take place from Friday, December 13th at 3:00pm and end at 10:00pm on Sunday, December 15th. All proceeds of the "Soap-a-thon" will go directly to Gilda's Club Greater Toronto. The line-up will include a number of Second City alums, including Colin Mochrie.
