All events will be held at The Second City and Piper's Alley complex at North and Wells. Tickets range from $10.00-$750.00 and will be available for purchase at The Second City Theater Box Office in Chicago at 312-337-3992 beginning at 10:00amCT Thursday, November 5th, and online at http://www.secondcity.com/. Performers are subject to change.

Proceeds from the shows will go to The Second City Alumni Fund. The Alumni Fund of the Second City was established by Joe Flaherty, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Catherine O'Hara, and Martin Short to assist and aid current, former or retired performers, technicians, support staff or other members of the creative and productions teams employed by The Second City theatres and in connection with the SCTV television series.

    I worked for the Second City in Toronto the summer that SCTV started....(Hello Andrew)...Congratulations to Second City .... I am certain the celebrations will be fabulous...wish I could attend....what a wonderful legacy of laughs.....

  5. Where is Barbara Harris?(one of the originals) and "why isn't she saying terrible things".
    We were friends with her late sister Nan and Nan's husband Howie Becker who took us to
    a 2nd City performance fifty years ago. Mina Kolb and Severn Darden knocked us out.

    All I can say is "WOW" I've never been so confused as to what show(s) to catch this weekend! From the legendary Fred Willard and Bill Murray to the current cast members, Second City Chicago is the place to be this weekend that will keep us all wearing a joker-painted smile :-)

  9. I was at the original shows in the early sixties, lucky enough to see the 25th anniversary show live and obtain a dvd of the HBO presentation. Will there be a similar dvd for any of the 50th anniversary shows?
