Chicago Live! Announces Guest Line-Up

Chicago Live! has announced an exciting line-up of guests and topics for their first broadcast on Thursday, October 14 at 6:30p from Downstairs Chicago Theater:

OCT. 14:

  • Rev. Michael Pfleger, interviewed by Tribune religion writer Manya Brachear
  • Live performance from Billy Elliot
  • Kevin Coval and the Louder Than A Bomb poets
  • Comedy from The Second City
  • Movies with Tribune critic Michael Phillips
  • Sports with Tribune columnists David Haugh and Steve Rosenbloom
  • Jen Weigel hosts the meet & mingle

Second City Teen Ensemble Grads Get Great Press!

Second City Training Center Teen Ensemble graduates created a new show, Oneirology, which received great press today from Pioneer Press and the Southtown Star. The articles featured ensemble members Maeve Devitt, Vasaris Balzekas, and Micki Burton.

Their final performance is scheduled for this Thursday, October 7th at 10:30pm in Donny’s Skybox Theater. Purchase tickets online here or visit our Box Office.

Second City Heads to Rochester

Second City alums Jean Villepique and Ed Furman are headed to Rochester today to start writing material for our upcoming show at the Geva Theater. I'll be Geneseeing You!
